The Board of Directors of the Lincoln County Humane Society holds monthly meetings, open to the public, on the third Thursday of each month. Meetings are held at 5:00 PM in the basement conference room at the Merrill City Hall.

This is a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Marathon County, Portage County Humane Society, Lincoln County Humane Society, and New Life Pet Adoption Center.

Planned activities include: local TV and radio celebrities in the dunk tank for the shelters. Raffles, food, games, informational booths on pet chiropratic, pet acupuncture, pet Reiki, pet Training, blood hound demos, therapy dogs demos, K-9 demos, pet blessings, home and recreational booths also.

Join the staff and supporters of Lincoln County Humane Society and Best Friends Animal Care Center for "Santa Photos 2010" on Saturday October 2, 2010!  

Best Friends has arranged professional quality photos, and you are able to take and copy each photo you buy to your hearts content.  

The cost is only a $10.00 sitting fee (includes one photo)   The photographer will take multiple shots, and you can choose one or more for $10.00 per shot.  

By appointment only.  

Please call 715-536-5136 to reserve a time for your pet's photo shoot and get directions to the Best Friends Animal Care Center. (Map quest, Google, etc... will send you to the wrong area.)  

All proceeds benefit the Lincoln County Humane Society and the Chance Memorial Fund.

Mark your calendars for the 3rd annual Lincoln Lager Barletyfest presented by the City of Merrill Parks and Recreation Department! It is scheduled for October 2, 2010, and once again the committee has generously chosen the LCHS as one of the recipients of the proceeds from this great event!

Last year's event was a great success, with over 350 participants and 34 breweries from around the state and the country. The Lincoln County Humane Society received $1,000 from the proceeds, and we are grateful to be chosen as a beneficiary of this year's event as well!

SAVE THE DATE! We are planning our first annual Fall Banquet for October 23 2010 at Kathy and Cal's Club 64 in Merrill. we will be featuring a nice dinner, lot of raffles, and your ticket will automatically include a chance to win!
