Barn cat homes needed ASAP!

June 18, 2024

LCHS is desperate for barn cat homes. The cats in our barn cat program are adults and are usually not friendly to people. They earn their keep as “working cats” by keeping the rodent population down.

Barn homes are required to provide shelter from the elements and daily food & water for the cats. The cats are fixed and up to date on vaccinations.

Living in the shelter is tough on cats that are used to living outside. If you have ever considered a barn cat before, now is the time to adopt! Adopting a barn cat will provide that kitty with a home but will also create an open kennel, which is greatly needed right now with the number of cats and kittens coming in to the shelter.

It’s important we find barn homes for these kitties ASAP.
