These portals allow cats to have double the amount of space or can provide nursing moms or multiple cats with a little more area to get comfortable while they stay with us. The portals can also be closed again if we have too many kitties to allow for the extra cage space.

Quality of life makes a huge impact for shelter pets. By providing some extra space, keeping litter pans away from food & water, and having a little area to hide can be a huge stress reduction for shelter cats. These portals will help keep our kitties happy and healthy.

Thank you to the amazing donor for providing the funding through the grant, as well as our volunteers, Wes, Brian, and Josh, for beginning to install the portals!
