We would like to thank Peggy Griffin, as well as all the Willow Springs Gardens staff and volunteers, for their donation in memory of Dr. Dennis Griffin.

Many of you know that Dr. Griffin (affectionately called “Doc” by LCHS staff) was the primary vet for LCHS for many years. Doc and Peggy both donated their time and expertise to care for shelter animals. Their on-going support was a huge factor in LCHS being able to save enough money for our new building.

Doc also offered veterinary care for the local community, often donating services to families that could not otherwise afford to care for their animals.

Doc is greatly missed. He was a kind, warm-hearted, supportive man and he is in our hearts always.
