Unfortunately, sometimes people donate items thinking they will help the shelter. If it’s not an item on our wish list, please call us if you have a question instead of leaving the items at the shelter. We have to pay to dispose of items we can’t use.
We never accept the following items at the shelter:
human clothing
aluminum cans
empty pill bottles
pillows or cushions
The Lincoln County Humane Society is dedicated to the prevention of cruelty and abuse to animals, birds and wildlife. Whether you're bringing in a lost pet, looking for your next forever friend, or need any other local humanitarian services, we are here to help.
