January – March Animal Statistics

We would like to thank all of our amazing donors for helping us care for so many animals!

Below are our statistics for animals in January – March:

 

Incoming strays (animals without a known owner): 36 cats, 31 dogs, 1 bird, 1 hamster, 1 muskrat (released into the wild with advice from a local wildlife rehab facility)

Incoming surrenders (animals being brought in by the owner): 42 cats, 23 dogs, 19 ferrets

Transfers (animals being brought to LCHS from other rescue groups): 25 cats, 27 dogs

 

Redemptions (animals being reclaimed by an owner): 6 cats, 31 dogs, 1 bird

Adoptions: 105 cats, 62 dogs, 2 ferrets, 1 hamster, 1 guinea pig

Rescue (animals going from LCHS to other animal rescue organizations): 5 cats, 1 dog, 12 mice
