We are so excited to share this amazing story!

A month ago, this handsome senior named Leo snuck out of his home. His family filed a lost report and kept searching for him. Knowing that he’s about 17 years old and declawed, they were concerned about the chances that Leo could survive on his own.

Today, the police brought him in as a stray after a local resident caught him. We recognized Leo from his owner’s lost report. His owner immediately came to get him. As soon as Leo saw his owner, he began to meow. Once he was back in his dad’s arms, his purr could be heard through the entire room.

Leo is tired and thinner than he was a month ago. But he’s back with his family, safe, with lots of food waiting for him. Leo’s story is a reminder to everyone with a missing pet to never give up hope. Continue to share a missing pet’s information and always keep looking.

Thank you to the concerned citizens and the officer who helped Leo make his way to the shelter. Your help brought Leo back to his family.
